MEET THE DUO!
INTERIOR DESIGNER
ANDREA ACOSTA,
As an only child who was born in Bogota, Colombia and raised in the United States, I have been privileged to have been exposed to both worlds and many cultures, as well as having an understanding and acceptance of those cultures, traditions and values. As an Interior Designer I would like to continue to grow and expand my knowledge of them to better assist our clients in creating a design the will meet and over-exceed their expectations. My passion for design was brought forth in my early childhood years. At only 5 years old, I was introduced to architectural drawings and design by various family members. It was amazing to me how someone can build such a wonder out of lines drawn on paper, taking it from only a vision to a beautiful reality. That’s when I knew, Interior Design is what I wanted to do and where I wanted to be. With my passion and love for design, the exposure to various cultures, and using my understanding of the client’s cultural background, needs, likes and dislikes, is what allows me to produce a well thought out design, while meeting my client’s expectations and vision for the space. As an Interior Designer, I have a passion for color and the mixture of materials, finishes and textures. Collecting inspiration from all the beauty our world has to offer, makes each project and design custom and unique to please and accommodate our client’s wants and needs.
INTERIOR DESIGNER
OCTAVIO MADRIGAL,
As Mexican-American, native to the city of Los Angeles, I grew up in a busy and loud urban environment which lacked green spaces through the buildings and homes that surrounded our house. I remember escaping to the roof top, laying down, staring into the sky and allowing my imagination to run wild. Living and working in Los Angeles, I have learned to embrace the diversity in cultures, music, art and people themselves. This has given me many years of experience with a variety of people and their culture, to which I have provided exceptional customer service to fulfill their needs and desires. As a Mexican-American, I wanted to learn more about my cultural background, and so I traveled to different regions of Mexico, where I have experienced and participated in the different cultures that just one country has to offer, and where I developed a love for art and design. With my knowledge of design, I have been able to bring my creativity to life by planning functions, events and their spaces. While focusing on kitchen and bath designs to show our clients my unique and distinctive style, I also aspire to design furniture pieces as well as Landscape designs. My design style is influenced and inspired by my ethnic background, the use of color, mixing of metals and wood and an open mind to blend these together for a contemporary and historic design style. My goal is to design spaces that creates emotions and moves the people.
